ABOUT THE TREK
Beas Kund is one of the most popular trails in the Dhauladhar range. A high altitude alpine lake, has the origin of the Beas Rives that runs through Manali and Kullu. Also, it is said that Sage Vyas used to bath while meditating here. This trek gives you the opportunity to see some really spectacular meadows and some high peaks nearby located such as Shitidhar, Hanuman Tibba, Ladakhi, Rocky’s challenge, Friendship peak.
You will cross many river streams and the treks follows the banks of the river Beas. This is one of the most popular short treks through the Solang valley and takes you through an expanse of picturesque mountain landscapes.
